PDFix Validation validates PDF jobs for accessibility and related conformance targets directly inside Enfocus Switch workflows.
The app receives incoming PDF jobs, runs a bundled veraPDF jlink CLI with PDFix Desktop-compatible validation profiles, and routes each job through traffic-light connections based on the validation outcome. Compliant files go to Success, failed checks go to Warning, and runtime or tool failures go to Error.
Key capabilities
- Validate PDF jobs in Switch flows without configuring an external veraPDF install path.
- Choose a validation profile from a dropdown that matches PDFix Desktop Validate with… names (PDF/UA, PDF/A, WCAG, WTPDF, Tagged PDF, and related profiles).
- Default to PDFUA-1, with support for profiles such as PDFUA-2, PDFA-1A, WCAG-2-2, and ISO-32000-1-Tagged.
- Send the original PDF to Success, Warning, or Error data connections according to the veraPDF result.
- Attach veraPDF XML reports to the matching Success, Warning, or Error log connection when a report is produced.
- Handle encrypted input PDFs with an optional password (masked in logged commands).
- Run concurrently for production Switch workflows.
