Enfocus Switch already provides many tools to automate a wide variety of tasks. However, some operations may require functionality that is not directly available through the standard Switch tools.
The Run Command app provides a simpler and more streamlined way to execute command line tools directly from your Switch flows.
Compared to the standard Execute command tool, Run Command reduces the number of configuration options and focuses on making it quick and easy to run commands that have already been tested and validated outside Switch.
If one of the many command line tools available online can perform the required operation, you can first build and test the command in Terminal or Command Prompt.
Once the command works as expected, you can use the Run Command app to integrate it into your Switch flow.
The app can also be used to execute native operating system commands or shell commands, giving you access to the power and flexibility of these tools while keeping the setup simple.

its easy to use and its much easier than the execute command. Its perfect that you can put the powershell command directly in the properties.
This has become my prefered method to integrate commandline tools into Switch.
It works better for me in regards to defining input and output to get the result from the commandline tool.
